About Me

Dawn: A friend said to me back in 2005, "Hey, you want to do a marathon this weekend?" Without any training, and never having run farther than 6 miles, I agreed to attempt it, and my ultrarunning career was begun. Most of my long-distances running experience has been in Germany while I was posted there, as part of the volksmarching IVV organization. Once moving to the UK, I took up fells running in England's wild national parks. I also discovered my love of Adventure Racing in the UK,as there are great races and a high level of competition. Now I am trying to combine my love of Paragliding with running to hike up into the mountains and then fly home!
